Tree work done right.
Cleaned up before we leave.
Fair prices for every size job.
San Diego tree service since 1993. Removals, stump grinding and lacing, quoted by Forrest and cleaned up before we leave.
Removals, lacing, stumps
Forrest looks at the tree first and tells you what it actually needs, even when that is less than you expected.
All service detailsResidential Tree Service
Year round care for the trees around your house. One crew for the trimming, the clearance work and the cleanup, so you are not chasing three companies.
Tree Removal
Dead, leaning or crowded trees taken down in sections over fences, pools and patios, then loaded and hauled the same day.
Stump Grinding
Stump ground below grade so you can lay sod, build a planter or pour concrete without working around it.
Lacing
Interior thinned by hand so light and wind pass through the canopy. The tree keeps its natural shape. We never top a healthy tree.
Safety Trimming
Deadwood, heavy limbs and branches over the roof, driveway or service line cut back before wind season moves them for you.
Pruning
Proper cuts at the collar on young and mature trees. Better structure now means far less corrective work in ten years.
Tree Planting
The right tree for the spot, planted at the right depth with a watering plan you can actually follow through a San Diego summer.
We lace a canopy. We never top it.
Plenty of trees we get called out to were topped by someone else and left with a bare trunk. Where the structure still holds, lacing brings the shape back.
If a tree really is a hazard, we say so, take it down in sections, grind the stump and haul it off. You hear the reasoning before you hear the price.

Across San Diego County
From the coast to the East County hills. If you are near one of these, we can usually get out for a look within a few days.
What areas does Aloha Tree Care cover?
We work out of Lemon Grove Ave in San Diego and cover the city plus La Mesa, Spring Valley, El Cajon, Casa de Oro, National City and Santee. Call and we will tell you right away if your address is on our route.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Forrest comes out, looks at the tree and gives you a price for the work you talked about. Nothing owed either way.
How long have you been doing this?
Since 1993. Same owner, same phone number, quality work at reasonable rates.
What is lacing?
Thinning the inside of the canopy by hand so light and wind pass through. The tree keeps its natural outline and sheds less in a windstorm. It is not the same as topping, and we do not top healthy trees.
How fast can you get out?
Usually within a few days. Call (858) 523-8733 for the next open slot. A hazardous tree moves to the front of the list.
Do you grind the stump too?
Yes. Say the word when you get your estimate and we will price the grinding with the removal.
Do you haul everything away?
Always. Brush chipped, wood loaded, driveway and walkways cleaned before we pull out.
Can you remove a tree in a tight back yard?
Yes. Most removals come down in controlled pieces over fences, pools and patios. No tree too tall, no job too small.
Do you plant trees as well?
We do. We will help you pick something suited to the spot and the water it will get, then plant it at the right depth.
Do you work on rentals and small commercial properties?
Yes. Landlords, property managers and small commercial sites are a steady part of the schedule.
Tell us what the tree is doing.
Send a few details, or call and describe it. We will come look, explain the options, and give you a price for the work discussed.
